Creativity Challenge: Splat!

I'm going to make this one short!  We did Splatter Paint Art!  Once the students were done throwing paint around and everything was dry, they took black sharpies and turned their art into "something".  They had to look for forms or meaning in the splatter and add to it with the sharpie to make those forms stand out.  Once that was done, some wrote about what their art represented.  They loved doing this!  I think that the "being messy" part was what was so appealing to them!
